My name is Todd Moore. I have created this online portfolio for my professional portfolio development. It contains some of my beliefs regarding teaching including views on diverse learners, multiple instuctional strategies, and assessment. As a future teacher, I hope to educate my students in a manner which is both informative and interesting for my students. I want to create a learning atmosphere where all my students can be successful and enjoy history. I believe the corresponding pages will show a little bit more about myself and my beliefs in regards to teaching, as well as some of the work that I have done in conjunction with the INTASC standards.

I obtained my Bachelors of Arts in History from the State University of New York at Cortland. I’m currently attending the State University of New York at Oswego to pursue my Masters in Adolescent Education for Social Studies. I will be graduating in December 2008, and fully intend to enter the job market shortly thereafter.

On a personal note, I enjoy Sports especially baseball (GO SOX! 2007 World Series Champs!), football, and bowling. I also enjoy traveling, good food, reading, watching movies, and spending time with my friends, family, and girlfriend Shantel.
